	4-08-09: Meeting Street Design Earns Inspiration Award Contract Magazine recently honored Meeting Street Center of Excellence with an Inspiration Award in recognition of "social responsibility in commercial interior architecture," a tribute to the dedication of the entire design team and Meeting Street staff. 	2-13-08: Saccoccio & Associates at Cumberland High School Architect Leo Grenier spoke on careers in architecture at Cumberland High at a recent forum. A graduate of RISD, Leo is a volunteer for the Architecture, Construction & Engineering (ACE) Mentoring Program of Rhode Island, a resource for students interested in career in the design and construction fields.


	12-14-07: Outstanding School & University The Meeting Street Center for Excellence was selected for Outstanding Design by the American School & University Magazine. Sustainability, security, aesthetics and life-cycle costs were the focus of the 2007 project competition. The Meeting Street Center was designed to LEED Silver standards.

	11-21-07: Build Boston - High Performance Buildings Ron Stevenson, AIA, LEED AP, was a featured presenter at the Build Boston 2007 conference. He participated in a panel discussion on the Advanced Building Program and its success with delivering energy-efficient designs for every budget. The Home Loan & Investment Bank building design was used as a project case study.


	11-05-07: Cranston East High School Addition Saccoccio & Associates was credited for its creative design of a new addition to Cranston East High School. “It really does blend in so well that from some angles it's hardly noticeable and I love that," comments Joel Zisserman, Cranston's Director of Buildings and Transportation, in a recent Providence Journal article.


	9-17-07: Canstruction Winner 2007 Saccoccio & Associates won first place for "Best Meal" at the 2007 Canstruction statewide competition for "canned goods" architecture. Projects entered are judged by the public, and cans are donated to local charities after the exhibit.
