Project: Phase 1- New 7,500 square foot addition; Renovation of 7, 800 square feet of existing space

With a growing demand for community recreation and fitness facilities, the Kent County YMCA enlisted Saccoccio & Associates to produce a master plan for the Warwick facility, and a subsequent design for phased expansion. Phase 1 provided a new addition with spacious entrance and reception area, a two-story office suite, an outside terrace and a children’s “Prime Time” play area. The existing Health & Wellness Center and aerobics studios was completely redefined and renovated. All construction proceeded with as little disruption to ongoing activities at the Y.
