Firehouse Announces 2018 National Station Design Award Winners
Fort Atkinson, WI, November 1, 2018 - Firehouse magazine has announced the winners of the fifth annual Station Design Awards program, which recognizes outstanding architecture and design from fire departments nationwide.
All participating entries published in the November issue of Firehouse Magazine and online at Firehouse.com/Stations.
"Firehouse's Station Design Awards issue has truly become a go-to resource for departments as they plan a renovation or new station design project," said Greg Toritto, vice president/group publisher, public safety, Endeavor Business Media. "Station projects can become challenging and overwhelming for many departments, and this issue provides Firehouse's audience with an opportunity to learn from other success stories and be better prepared for their own projects." Winners were selected by a panel of five judges including a deputy chief, fire marshal, two architects, and and a fire engineer/architect with experience in fire station designs.
